Toronto Summer Championship

The event will start off with swiss rounds leading up to a same-day top cut.

The events prize distribution is going to be 40-25-5-5 for a total of 75€ for top 4.

Format Library Tengu Plant Invitational Series

Format Library is hosting a Tengu Plant Invitational Series, with the grand invitational tournament happening in January. Players can qualify for the finals by passing a point threshold in a system rewarding players based on performance. Since the final is only half a year away, points will be awarded retroactively to topping players from associated events.

The FL tournaments will be hosted every two months and primarily be single-day events. The points will be awarded to the topping players as follows: 20/10/5/5. For tournaments with at least 32 participants, the points distribution will instead be: 20/20/10/10/5/5/5/5.

At the end of the season, anyone with at least 20 points will receive an invite to the final tournament at the start of next year.

The first upcoming tournament will take place on Saturday the 6th of July, starting at 6:00 PM CET.
It will be a live Swiss tournament, with top cut. Rounds and cut-off based on attendance, and if necessary the top cut will continue on Sunday.

Join the tournament by heading over to the Format Library discord server!

Keep your eyes peeled for future announcements regarding prizing for the finals and possible upcoming collaborations with Tournament Nexus.

Website Launch

Welcome to a Tengu Tools! A new online resource aiming to make Tengu Plant Format-related data more accessible.

The website is still not quite done, and there will be some bugs or missing features here and there, but the community feedback has the potential to be the key to making this turn out as good as possible – so please have a look around and don’t hesitate to leave feedback!

Current features include comprehensive statistical breakdown of deck preformance, replays and topping decklists. While there won’t be any promises made or timeframes set, the intention is to keep adding features continuously as long as the website is well received!

If you’re a content creator, online tournament organizer or anyone else who thinks they can add to this resource, send a short message introducing yourself and what you’re interested in bringing to this. The goal is that this website will have multiple engaged contributors with a broad perspective rather than ending up being a personal website. The focus moving forward will primarily be on the competitive scene and objective data driven content.

Enjoy your stay!
